SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 129.
AN ACT further to amend an act of the General
Assembly of Maryland passed at the January
session, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,
chapter one hundred and eight, entitled "An
act to incorporate the Yearly Meeting of the
Society of Friends held on Lombard street in
the city of Baltimore," so as to change the
corporate name of the corporation created by
said act, and also to give the sanction of the
general assembly to the holding by said cor-
poration of certain real estate for its uses as a
religious society.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the first section of the

Assembly of Maryland, eighteen hundred and
sixty-seven, chapter one hundred and eight, en-
titled " An act to incorporate the Baltimore
Yearly Meeting of the Society of Friends held
on Lombard street in the city of Baltimore," be
and the same is hereby amended by striking
from the said section the words "The Baltimore
Yearly Meeting of Friends held on Lombard
street" and inserting in the stead thereof the
words "The Baltimore Yearly Meeting of
Friends held on Park avenue," so that the
name and style of the said corporation shall
hereafter be "The Baltimore Yearly Meeting of
Friends held on Park avenue."
