CHAPTER 585.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money therein mentioned
to pay the claim of Frank W. Owens, late Treasurer of
Anne Arundel County and collector of State and county
taxes for said county, for overpayment on taxes for eighteen
hundred and ninety-one and eighteen hundred and ninety-
two, to the State of Maryland.

Appropria-
tion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That, the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant on the
Treasurer of this State to pay Frank W. Owens, late treasurer
of Anne Arundel county and collector of State and county
taxes for said county, four hundred and twelve dollars and
nineteen cents, the same being due said Frank W. Owens for
amount overpaid by him to the State of Maryland, for taxes
charged to him for collection for the years eighteen hundred
and ninety-one and eighteen hundred and ninety-two, the same
having been recommended by the officers of the treasury
department.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 586.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
244 of Article 2, and Section 329 of Article 17, of Code of
Public Local Laws, titles, respectively, "Anne Arundel
County," and " Prince George's County," sub-title " Wild
Fowl," as said sections were re-enacted by Chapter 360 of
the Acts of 1892.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 244 of article 2 and section 329 of
article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws, titles, respec-
tively, " Anne Arundel County," and " Prince George's
County," sub-title "Wild Fowl," as said sections were re-
enacted by chapter 360, of the acts of 1892, be and the same
