are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to
read as follows :

903

244 and 329. It shall not be lawful for any person or per-
sons, not actual residents of Anne Arundel and Prince George's
Counties, to shoot or trap upon the waters of the Patuxent
river, its tributaries or the marshes thereof, bordering upon
said counties, any goose, dnck, snipe, ortolan or other wild
fowl, unless he or they shall have permission of the citizens or
a majority of them adjacent to or contiguous to said marshes ;
and provided, that they shall only employ in their shooting,
such boats as are licensed for that purpose, as hereinafter pro-
vided; that citizens of Calvert county shall have the privilege
of shooting on said waters and marshes to the same extent and
in the same manner as is allowed to and enjoyed by the citizens
of Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties.

CHAPTER 587.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
thirty-one of Article sixty-five of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title " Militia," sub-title " Maryland
National Guard."

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section thirty one of article sixty-five of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia," sub-title "Mary-
land National Guard," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

Repeal.

SEC. 31. The board of officers of said regiment, battalion
or company, constituted according to the constitution and
by-laws thereof, shall be a court martial for the trial of such
offence and the imposition of said fines; and the offender shall
be entitled to a hearing before said court martial; upon the
imposition of said fine or fines by said board of officers, the
same shall be and become at once payable; in case any delin-
quent shall fail, refuse or neglect to pay all such fines so
imposed on him within ten days after, he has been notified
