ments published in one or more of the newspapers published
in said Washington county, and by hand bills posted in con-
spicuous places in said town of Boonsborough, which adver-
tisements and hand bills shall contain a copy of the title of
this act and a statement of the time and place of holding said
election; and at the said election the vote on the question of
the approval of this act shall be by ballot, and upon each
ballot there shall be written or printed the words, "For the
Subscription Act," or "Against the Subscription Act," as the
voters may elect; and immediately after said election due
returns shall be made to the burgess and commissioners afore-
said of the votes for and against this act, and if a majority of
the votes given at said election upon said question shall thereby
be shown to have been given in favor of this act, then the
same shall forthwith go into effect.

CHAPTER 575.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter one hundred and one of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January session, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, entitled
"An Act to protect birds and game, and prevent trespassing
with dog or gun on private property in Somerset County,"
and re-enact'the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapter one hundred and one of the Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, entitled "An Act to
protect birds and game in Somerset county, and prevent
trespassing with dog or gun, on private property in Somerset
county," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments, to read as follows :
SEC. F. And be it enacted, That it shall not be lawful for
any person or persons in Somerset county, to shoot, kill or
entrap in any manner whatever any partridge or quail in said
county, between the fifteenth day of January and the tenth
day of November in each and every year; nor any wild duck,
between the first day of April and the first day of October in
each and every year; nor any hare or rabbit, between the
