CHAPTER 573.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money therein mentioned
to pay the claim of John E. Everett, late collector for 1st
District, Queen Anne's County, for over-payment on taxes
for eighteen hundred and eighty-two, to the State of Mary-
land.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant on the
Treasurer of this State to pay John E. Everett, late collector
for 1st district, Queen Anne's County, eighty two dollars and
three cents, the same being due said John E. Everett for
amount overpaid to the State of Maryland for State taxes
charged him for collection for the year eighteen hundred and
eighty-two, same having been recommended by the officers of
the Treasury Department.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 574.
AN ACT to authorize the Burgess and Commissioners of
Boonsborough, Washington County, Maryland, to issue bonds
to an amount not exceeding $15,000, and to subscribe that
sum to the capital stock of any railway company now incor-
porated or to be incorporated, to build a railway between
Boonsborough and Keedysville in said county, or of a rail-
way and Electric Light and Power Company so located.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the burgess and commissioners of Boons-
borough, Washington county, be and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered to issue coupon bonds to an amount not
exceeding fifteen thousand dollars, in such denominations as
they may determine, bearing interest at such rate, not exceed-
ing six per cent, per annum, as may be fixed by said burgess
and commissioners, payable semi-annually; said bonds shall be
