CHAPTER 470.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay Charles H.
Baughman & Co., for extra work in printing the Magis-
trates' Code, authorized by the Act of 1892, Chapter 633.
WHEREAS, The Magistrates' Code, ordered by chapter 633

of 1892, assumed much greater dimensions than was contem-
plated before its issue, and, therefore, the appropriation to pay
therefor was based on the supposed smaller quantity of printed
matter contained therein; and,

WHEREAS, When the copy for the same was presented to
Charles H. Baughman & Co., public printers to the General
Assembly, in preference to allowing the legislation in that
behalf to be of non-effect, by reason of the said code not being
printed, they printed and published the same in conformity to
the said act of assembly, agreeing to trust to the next session
of the General Assembly to make them proper compensation
therefor; therefore,

Appropria-
tion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sum of one hundred and fifty (1 50) dol-
lars be and the same is hereby appropriated to pay Charles H.
Baughman & Co., for extra work in printing and publishing
the Magistrates' Code, authorized by chapter 633 of the Acts
of 1892; and that the Treasurer, on the warrant of the Comp-
troller, which he is hereby directed to draw in favor of the
said Charles IT. Baughman & Co., be and he is hereby directed
and authorized to pay the same out of any moneys in the
treasury not otherwise appropriated.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Section 259 of Article 13 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Harford County," sub-title
"Taxes," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
