CHAPTER 440.
AN ACT to refund to Mary A. Callahan a part of the oyster
license fee paid into the State Treasury, for the "Schooner
Shiloh."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon
the treasury in favor of Mary A. Callahan, for twenty dollars
and forty-six cents, the same being a part of the oyster license
fee paid into the treasury by said Callahan, for the catching
of oysters in the Chesapeake bay, &c., for the oyster season
commencing October 15, 1893, the said schooner being totally
wrecked on the 30th day of January, 1894.

SEC. 2. And, be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 447.
AN ACT to repeal Chapters forty-nine and six hundred and
seventy-nine of the Acts passed at the January session, 1892,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County,"
sub-title "Roads," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapters forty-nine and six hundred and
seventy-nine of the acts passed at the January session, 1892,
repealing certain sections of the Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore County," sub-title "Roads," be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted as follows :

SEC. 188. And le it enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, at their first meeting in January
in every year hereafter, shall appoint one road supervisor in
each election district, to act as such for one year from the time
of his appointment or until his successor shall qualify, who

shall give bond to the County Commissioners, conditioned for
the faithful performance of his duties, in a sum equal to
the amount of the general road tax levied from the district
