LAWS OF MARYLAND.

title "Militia," sub-title "Adjutant General," to follow section
7, and to be known as section 7 A, to read as follows :

Clerk to
Adjutant
General.

7 A. The Adjutant-General is hereby empowered and author-
ized to employ a clerk, whose salary shall be twelve hundred
dollars per annum; and the said sum is hereby appropriated
for that purpose; and the comptroller is directed to draw his
warrant on the treasurer, who is hereby directed to pay the same
in equal monthly installments of one hundred dollars each.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 437.

AN ACT to pay to Annie Bond the sum of thirty-seven
dollars and fifty cents for license fee erroneously collected
from her by Louis H. Rehn, Collector and Treasurer for the
City of Annapolis, and paid by him into the State Treasury.

Appropria-
tion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant on the
Treasurer of this State for the sum of thirty-seven dollars and
fifty cents, to pay the claim of Annie Bond, for a license fee
erroneously paid by her to Louis H. Rehn, collector and
treasurer for the city of Annapolis, in the year 1892, and paid
by him into the State treasury.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 438.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 93 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Testa-
mentary Law," sub-title "Wills," to 'follow Section 316, and
to be designated Section "316 A."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
