SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 435.

AN ACT to change and define the boundaries of the legisla-
tive districts of Baltimore City.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the first legislative district of Baltimore city
shall be and consist of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth,
sixth and seventh wards of said city as the said wards are now
by law defined; that the second legislative district of Balti-
more city shall be and consist of the eighth, ninth, tenth,
eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth and twenty-second wards of said
city as the said wards are now by law defined; and that the
third legislative district of Baltimore city shall be and consist
of the fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth,
nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first wards of said city as the
said wards are now by law defined.

Legislative
districts.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts,
whether the same be public general or public local acts, and all
ordinances of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city,
which are inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 436.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article sixty-five of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia," sub-title
"Adjutant-General," providing for the appointment of a
clerk to the Adjutant-General, to follow Section seven, and
to be designated Section seven A.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby
added to article 65 of the Code of Public General Laws,
