SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the sum of forty thousand
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the
same is hereby appropriated from any money in the treasury
not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purposes of this
act. And the Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed
to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer, payable to the order
of the chairman of said committee, for such sums and at such
times as shall be required by the said committee for the pro-
curement of plans and specifications, and the erection of the
enlargement or annex hereby authorized and directed to be
erected, for the purposes aforesaid, and for the metal ceiling
and other necessary repaiis aforesaid; provided, that the sum
of not less than ten per centum of the whole cost of said
enlargement or annex shall be retained by the Treasurer from
the amount to be paid for the erection of the same until its
final completion and acceptance by said committee; and pro-
vided further, that said sum of forty thousand dollars shall
cover the entire cost of the plans and specifications for and
construction of said enlargement or annex, including plumbing,
shelving, painting and thorough equipment for use, including
heating apparatus, and of said ceilings and repairs.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the further sum of fifteen
hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, to be expended by said committee in
supplying all necessary furniture for said enlargement or annex.

SEC. 5. And Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 404.

AN ACT to repeal Article 99, Section 13, Public General
Laws, title "Birds and Game," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That article 99, section 13, Public General Laws of
Maryland, title " Birds and Game," be and hereby is repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
