LAWS OF MARYLAND.

United States," a body corporate of the State of Pennsylvania ;
and to the conveyance of the said farm or real estate in Carroll
county to said religious corporation, its successors and assigns,
in fee, from Nicholas L. F. Harden and Mary, his wife, of
Carroll county, the mortgagors, dated the eighth day of Janu-
ary, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and duly recorded
among the land records of Carroll county.

To bequests

Elizabeth
Clark.

Forty-ninth. To the bequest to the Piney Creek Presby-
terian Church and burying ground of Carroll county, the sum
of one thousand dollars; to the bequest to the Presbyterian
Church of Taneytown, Carroll county, the sum of one thousand
dollars, contained in the last will and testament of Elizabeth
Clark, late of Carroll county, Maryland, deceased, duly pro-
bated and recorded among the testamentary records for Carroll
county.

To bequest in
will of E. Z.
Nichols.

Fifty-first. To the gift and bequest contained in the last
will and testament of Elizabeth Z. Nichols, late of Baltimore
city, deceased, of five hundred dollars to the Convention of
the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Easton, in
trust, for the support of the rector of Saint John's Parish at
Hillsborough, Caroline county, Maryland.

To bequest in
will of J. C.
Bishop.

Fifty-second. To the devise of a lot of ground and premises
in the city of Annapolis to the rector, vestry and church
wardens of St. Anne's parish, Annapolis, Maryland, contained
in the last will and testament of James C. Bishop, late of
Annapolis, Maryland, deceased.

Belt.

Fifty-third. To the bequest of John Belt, late of Frederick
county, deceased, of the residue of the testator's estate, as con-
tained in the last will and testament of the said John Belt, to
St. Joseph's Catholic Church on the Manor.

To bequest in
will of Lydis
Shaeffer.

Fifty-fourth. To sundry bequests made by the last will and
testament of Lydia Shaeffer, late of Carroll county, Maryland,
deceased, in words following, to wit: "To the Evangelical
Grace Lutheran Church of Westminster, Carroll county, or to
the trustees thereof for the benefit of said church, the sum of
five hundred dollars;" and "to the joint trustees of Saint
Benjamin's Church in Carroll county, one hundred dollars, to
be by them applied to keep the cemetery, belonging to said
church, in repair."
