FRANK BROWN, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

April, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, by the Legislature of
New York, to each of said boards the sum of five hundred
dollars; to the American and Foreign Christian Union,
founded in the city of New York in eighteen hundred and
forty-nine, the sum of one thousand dollars; to Joseph
Kausler the sum of five hundred dollars, to be used by him for
the benefit of the Sunday school connected with the Presby-
terian Church of Hagerstown, contained in the last will and
testament of Same Thompson, late of Washington county,
Maryland, deceased.

Forty-Fifth, 2. To the bequests contained in the will of
Henry B. Bachtcll, late of Washington county, Maryland,
deceased, recorded among the testamentary records of Wash-
ington county, in Wills, Liber II, folio 294, in words following,
to wit : " It is my desire that my executor, from the funds
thus invested, pay each year, to each of the consistories of St.
Peter's (or Beard's Church) and Reformed Church at Cave-
town, towards the salaries of the pastors of those churches,
and thus to continue until all is consumed; that he pays one
dollar and fifty cents to the Lutheran of St. Peter's, and one
dollar and twenty-five cents to the Reformed."

Forty-sixth. To the bequest of five hundred dollars to the
Trustees of the Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church of Salis-
bury, Wicomico county, Maryland, within the bounds of
the Wilmington Conference, contained in the last will of Mary
A. Nichols, and proved in the office of the register of wills of
Wicomico county.

Forty-seventh. To the sale to the Trustees of the Presby-
terian Church of Mount Washington in Baltimore county, of a
parcel of land immediately adjoining that on which the church
is located, and part of the land belonging to the late P. G.
Sauerwein, and not more than two acres in extent; and also to
the sale by said trustees, and conveyance of their church prop-
erty, now used as a manse, being the same property conveyed
to said trustees by deed recorded among the land records of
said county, in Liber W. M. I., No. 124, folio 140.
