LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAPTER 384.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 149 of Article 18 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's
County," sub-title "Elections, Primary," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 149 of article 18 of Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," sub-title "Elections,
Primary," be and the same is herebj7 repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows.

Primary
elections

149. All said primary elections shall be by districts and at
the usual polling places in each of the districts of said county,
and held on Saturday; and if such election shall be for
delegates to a nominating convention for candidates for
county offices, the polls shall be open for the reception of
votes from nine o'clock A. M. to-eight o'clock P. M., and no
longer; and if such election shall be for delegates for other
purposes, the polls shall be open for the reception of votes
from twelve o'clock M. to eight o'clock p. M., and no longer.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 385.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises
contained in the last wills and testaments of certain persons,
late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain
gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various persons
in the State, to and for the use and benefit of sundry minis-
terial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions hereinafter named.

Sanction to
bequests.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises,
