nine of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Charles County,"
sub-title "Birds and Game," be and they are hereby repealed
and rendered inoperative for the term of one year, and no
longer, and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as fol-
lows :

Repeal.

SEC. 38. It shall not be lawful for any person to shoot, kill,
catch or entrap any quail, partridge, woodcock, pheasant on
rabbit in Charles county, for and during the term of one year
from the date of the passage of this act.
|
Game law.
|
|
|
SEC. 44. It shall be lawful for any citizen, and it shall be
the duty of the sheriff or any constable in Charles county to
arrest, with or without warrant, any person violating the pro-
visions of section thirty eight of this article, and take him
before some justice of the peace in said county, to be dealt
with as provided by section 39 of this article.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this bill shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 383.
AN ACT to exempt from county and municipal taxation cer-
tain bonds proposed to be issued by the corporation of the
city of Annapolis to erect an electric light plant.

Effective.

WHEREAS, The corporation of the city of Annapolis is con-
templating the issuing of twenty thousand dollars in bonds for
the erection of an electric light plant to furnish light for said
corporation; now, therefore,

Preamble.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That if the said twenty thousand dollars in bonds
are issued by said corporation of the city of Annapolis, that
they shall be exempt from county and municipal taxation.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
