CHAPTER 352.

AN ACT to repeal Section four hundred and twelve, four
hundred and thirteen, and four hundred and fourteen of
Article eight of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil
County," sub-title " Spirituous and Fermented Liquors," as
enacted by Chapter four hundred and seventy-four of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1890, and
as amended by Chapter two hundred and ninety three of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1892, and
re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section four hundred and twelve, four hun-
dred and thirteen, and four hundred and fourteen, of article
eight, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil County,"
sub-title " Spirituous and Fermented Liquors," as enacted by
chapter four hundred and seventy-four of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1890, as amended by chapter
two hundred and ninety-three of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1892, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as
follows :

Repeal


412. No license to sell spirituous and fermented liquors in
Cecil county, shall be granted to any hotel keeper who shall
have complied with the provisions of this act, until such appli-
cant shall have paid to the treasurer of Cecil county, the sum
of two hundred and fifty dollars, if said applicant shall desire
a license to sell spirituous and fermented liquors in any incor-
porated town in said county, or within two miles of the corpo-
rate limits thereof; and the sum of one hundred and fifty
dollars, if said applicant shall desire to sell spirituous or
fermented liquors in said county not within the limits nor
within two miles thereof, of any incorporated town therein ;
and the receipt of said treasurer, signed by him, shall be suffi-
cient evidence to said clerks of the payment to said treasurer
of the sum mentioned therein.

413. No license to sell spirituous or fermented liquors in
Cecil county shall be granted to any applicant other than hotel
keeper, within the meaning of this act, who shall have com-
plied with the provisions of this act, unless said applicant shall
pay to the treasurer of Cecil county the sum of four hundred
