LAWS OF MARYLAND.

County Commissioners, from the party or parties contracting
to erect said buildings, or any part or parte thereof, shall be
taken in the name of the Board of County Commissioners of
Worcester county, conditioned for the faithful performance
of such contract or contracts as may be entered into.

Plan of
building.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That power is hereby given to
said County Commissioners to adopt such plans of said court
house and jail, as they shall deem expedient and proper, which
court house shall, in part, consist of a room for the clerk of
the court and the records connected with his office; a room for
the register of wills and Orphans' Court and the records con-
nected with said office; a room for the County Commissioners
and the records connected with said office; a room for the
board of school commissioners and the records connected with
said office; a room for the county collector; a room for the
sheriff; a court room for holding sessions of court; a room for
the grand jury; a room for the petit jury; a room for the
court library; and a room for the judges; and which jail shall
have at least four rooms for the family of the jailor, and a
sufficient number of cells for at least eight prisoners.

Bonds to he
sold.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said County Commis-
sioners are hereby anthorized and empowered, after they shall
have prepared and signed said bonds, to sell and dispose of the
same, at not less than par value thereof, to raise money to
carry out the effect and provisions of this act; and all bonds
remaining unsold in their hands shall be cancelled by them.

Effective.


SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 251.

AN .ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 11
of Article 48 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Inspections," sub-title "Tobacco," as said section was re-
enacted by chapter 262 of the Acts of 1890.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 11 of article 48 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Inspections," sub-title "Tobacco,"
