LAWS OF MARYLAND.

May use free
school fund.

of Worcester county, be and it is hereby authorized and
empowered to use and appropriate out of the permanent free
school fund of said county, money to an amount not exceed-
ing six thousand dollars, towards building and repairing
school houses in said county.

Repeal.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or part thereof
inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 3d, 1894.


CHAPTER 221.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 98, 99 and 100 of Article 16 of
the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact the same
as amended so as to authorize any court which may have ap-
pointed a guardian, committee or trustee of the property of
a person non compos mentis, to order or decree upon the ap-
plication of such guardian, committee or trustee, a sale,
lease or surrender of a lease of any real, leasehold or per-
sonal property, to which such person non compos mentis
may be entitled, without any process or order of publication,
and to give to any such order or decree as may heretofore
have been passed the same effect as if it had been passed
after the passage of this Act.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections ninety-eight, ninety-nine and one
hundred of article sixteen, of the Code of Public General
Laws, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:

mentis may, upon the application of such guardian, committee
