more city and county, charging not more than five cents for
any one passenger from the western limits of Baltimore city
to the centre of said city, and not more than five cents shall be
charged any one passenger from said western limits of Balti-
more city to the present terminus at Catonsville, and five cents
from thence to Ellicott City, and all the rights, property and
franchises of said companies so consolidated, and the right to
own and operate street passenger railway tracks on such streets
in the city of Baltimore, or on the roads of Baltimore county,
heretofore or hereafter granted to said company, shall vest in
said consolidated corporation.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 163.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Wicomico County," sub-
title "Salisbury," to be designated as Section 133 A and to
follow Section 133.

New section.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following section, to be designated as sec-
tion 133 A, be and the same is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Wicomico County," sub-title "Salis-
bury," and to follow section 133.

Election,
when to be
held.

133 A. The election for Mayor and Councilmen of Salis-
bury shall be on the first Tuesday of May instead of the first
Tuesday in April; provided, that the present Mayor and
Councilmen shall hold office until their successors are duly
elected and qualified as is now provided by law.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts and parts of acts
inconsistent with this act, be and are hereby repealed; and
that this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.
