409. No person shall at any time, within the limits of Cecil
county, shoot at or shoot any pigeons or other bird thrown
from or escaping from any trap or other devices for temporary
confinement.

Shooting
pigeons.

410. Any person, his aider or abettors, who shall violate the
provisions of the preceding section, shall, upon conviction
before a justice of the peace, be fined a sum not less than
twenty-five nor more than fifty dollars, with the costs of prose-
cution, and shall be committed to the jail of the county until
such fine and costs are paid; for each subsequent offence, in
addition to said fine, shall be committed to the county jail for
a period not exceeding ninety days.

Penalty.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 29th, 1894.

CHAPTER 162.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Baltimore, Catons-
ville and Ellicott's Mills Passenger Railroad Company, and
to authorize it to use electricity on its railroad, and to
acquire by condemnation or otherwise, the right to use the
turnpike of the President, Managers and Company of the
Baltimore and Fredericktown Turnpike Road, and to pro-
vide for the consolidation of the said Baltimore, Catonsville
and Ellicott's Mills Passenger Railroad Company with the
City and Suburban Railway Company.


WHEREAS, The Baltimore, Catonsville and Ellicott's Mills
Passenger Railroad Company is the successor of the Baltimore,
Catonsville and Ellicott's Mills Passenger Railway Company,
having been organized under the laws of the State of Mary-
land by the purchasers of the property and franchises of such
company in foreclosure proceedings instituted in the Circuit
Court of Baltimore city, and as the successor of the said rail-
way corporation, has become entitled to all the rights, property
and franchises of said original corporation.
