CHAPTER 159.
AN ACT to enable and authorize the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County to appropriate a sum of money to aid
in the construction of a bridge over the Patapsco river.

(Preamble.
|
WHEEEAS, The General Assembly of Maryland, by chapter
677 of the acts of 1892, granted to Wyatt Owen the right to
build a bridge over the Patapsco river, for his own use and
benefit, from the Baltimore county shore of said river to con-
nect with Light street bridge of Baltimore city; and

Preamble.

WHEREAS, Said bridge, when so constructed, will be a great
benefit and convenience to the citizens of Baltimore county
and the State of Maryland; therefore, to the end that said
bridge may be free of any toll to the general public,
|

|
Appropria-
tion.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county be and they are authorized and empowered to appro-
priate the sum of six thousand dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary, to aid in the construction of the bridge to
be built in conformity to the provisions of chapter 677 of the
acts of 1892.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 160.
AN ACT to add two additional sections to Article eight of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil County," under
the new sub-title "Crimes and Punishments," to be designated
as Sections 409 and 410, prohibiting the shooting of pigeons
from traps or other devices for temporary confinement.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That two new sections be and they are hereby
added to article eight of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Cecil County," under the new sub-title ''Crimes and Punish-
ments," and to read as follows :
