SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 152.

AN ACT to approve the Act passed by the General Assembly
of Maryland at the January session, eighteen hundred and
ninety-two, chapter 295, entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the County Commissioners of Talbot County to
issue bonds to the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars,
bearing interest at a rate not exceeding five per cent, per
annum, for the purpose of raising a sum of money sufficient
to pay the County's subscription of twenty-five thousand
dollars to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Eastern
Shore Railroad Company."

WHEREAS, The General Assembly of Maryland, at the
January session, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, passed an
act, chapter two hundred and ninety-five, entitled " An act to
authorize and empower the County Commissioners of Talbot
county to issue bonds to the amount of twenty-five thousand
dollars, bearing interest at a rate not exceeding five per cent.
per annum, for the purpose of raising a sum of money suffi-
cient to pay the county's subscription of twenty-five thousand
dollars to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Eastern Shore
Railroad Company; " and whereas, the said act of Assembly
was duly published for two months before the next election for
members of the House of Delegates, in the newspapers of
Talbot county, aforesaid; the said election for members of the
House of Delegates having occurred on the seventh day of
November, A. D. eighteen hundred and ninety-three; now,
therefore :

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

ninety-five of the acts passed at the January session, eighteen
hundred and ninety-two, chapter two hundred and ninety-five,
entitled "An act, to authorize and empower the County Com-
