therefore, in order to remove all doubts as to said power, and
to confer full power and authority upon, the said " The Rock-
ville and Bethesda Turnpike Company of Montgomery
County, Maryland," in the premises,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly oj
Maryland, That "The Rockville and Bethesda Turnpike
Company of Montgomery County, Maryland," a corporation
duly incorporated under the provisions of article twenty-three
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, be and it
is hereby authorized and empowered to locate its roads ovei
and upon the line or route of the turnpike road of the Presi-
dent, Managers and Company of the Washington Turnpike
Company, from Rockville to Bethesda, in said county, and tc
condemn the turnpike road and property of the said "The Presi
dent, Managers and Company of the Washington Turnpike
Company," so far as the same may be necessary and proper tc
carry out the objects and purposes of the said " The Rock
ville and Bethesda Turnpike Company of Montgomery County
Maryland," in the manner prescribed for the condemnation oi
property in said article twenty-three of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland.

SEC.2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 21st, 1894.

CHAPTER 118.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay Lewis H.
Rehn the sum of one hundred and twenty-nine dollars and
three cents ($129.03) for commission on money collected by
him as collector and treasurer of the city of Annapolis,
from applicants for liquor licenses and paid by him into the
State treasury.


WHEREAS, By an act of the General Assembly passed at
the January session, 1890, chapter 568, the collector and treas-
urer of the city of Annapolis to be required to collect all
license fees under said act, and to pay over a certain portion
thereof to the State of Maryland; and
