SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the citizens of the town of
Hyattsville, in Prince George's county, be and they are hereby
created a body corporate by the name of "The Commissioners
of Hyattsville," with all the powers and privileges of a body
politic and corporate, and by said corporate name may have
perpetual succession, sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded,
in any court of law or equity, may have and use a common
seal, may purchase and hold real, personal and mixed property
and sell and dispose of same for the benefit of the town.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the limits of said town
shall be as follows: Commencing at the centre of the eastern
branch of the Potomac river, at its junction with the north-
west branch, and running with the centre of said northwest
branch westerly to its intersection with the west line of R. P.
Evans' addition to Hyattsville extended, the same being 375
feet from Carlton's dam; thence running northerly by said
west line of said Evans' addition, north 2'2 15" east to a stone
on the south side of the public road leading to Washington,
D. C., and known as the old Bladensburg road; thence north-
erly to the western terminus of the north line of Avalon
avenue, as the same is laid down in the sub-division known as
Ellaville; thence easterly along said northern line of Avalon
avenue to the western bounding of the Washington and Balti-
more turnpike; thence with the western boundary of said
turnpike, southerly to its intersection with the southern line of
Riversdale extended; thence with said line easterly to the
Washington branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad ;
thence with the easterly boundary of said railroad right of
way southerly to the Alexandria junction of the said railroad;
thence with the eastern boundary of the right of way of said
Alexandria branch road to the centre of the east branch of the
eastern branch of the Potomac river; thence with the centre
of said eastern branch to the place of beginning.

Corporate

SEC.4. And be it enacted, That the male citizen's of said
town of the age of twenty-one years and upwards, having
resided therein six months next preceding any election held
hereunder, and who are qualified to vote for members of the
General Assembly, shall, on the first Monday in May next, and
annually thereafter, on the same day, at the place in said town
designated by the judges of election, elect by ballot, for the
first year, two commissioners, and for the second year three
commissioners for said town, and so continue for each alter-
nate year thereafter: said five commissioners shall serve for
