Somerset county, or any judge thereof, on petition of the col-
lector, and proper cause shown in term time or in recess, may
extend the time for collection of said taxes of any of the said
collectors, from year to year, not exceeding two years after the
said taxes become due and fall in arrears.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 101.

AN ACT to appropriate a certain sum of money to pay the
claims of Campbell and Zell Company for repairing
steamer " Annapolis."

To pay claim

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the comptroller be and he is hereby directed
to draw his warrant for the sum of sixteen thousand five hun-
dred and thirteen dollars and forty-nine cents, in favor of
Campbell and Zell Company, for repairing and furnishing new
condenser pump, etc., for the steamer " Annapolis."

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 102.

AN ACT to reincorporate the Town of Hyattsville, Prince
George's County, Maryland.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act entitled "An Aet to Incorporate the
Town of Hyattsville, in Prince George's County," approved
April seventh, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, and the
several acts amendatory thereof, be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted to read as follows :
