JOINT RESOLUTIONS.

speedily as possible, by indictment against the president of
some bank which has neglected or refused to comply with the
provisions of the law requiring the annual publication of
unclaimed balances which have remained on deposit three
years or over.

No. 10.

Joint resolution requesting the Governor to direct the State
Librarian to furnish to the Circuit ('ourt for Allegany
County a complete set of the Maryland Reports.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, By the recent fire which destroyed the court
house for the Circuit Court of Allegany county, which
occurred in January, 1893, the set of Maryland Reports there
kept for the use of said court was destroyed; and

Preamble .

WHEREAS, It is necessary for the purposes of said court
that it should have in its library a set of said reports ;
therefore,

Loan of
law books.

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor be and he is hereby requested to direct the State
Librarian to send to the clerk of the Circuit Court for Alle-
gany county, at as early a day as possible, a full and complete
set of the Maryland Reports of the decisions of the Court of
Appeals of Maryland, and one copy each of Poe's Code, both
general and local; and also for the same reason and similar
purpose, as above stated, the librarian is hereby directed to
furnish to the respective clerks of the Circuit Courts for
Charles and Worcester county a full set of the Maryland
Reports.

Joint resolutions appointing a joint committee of the General
Assembly of Maryland, to meet a like committee from the
State of Virginia, to investigate the conflict between the
Virginia State Steamer Chesapeake and sundry dredgers, in
the waters common to the two States.

WHEREAS, The General Assembly of Virginia, by joint res-
