FRANK BROWN, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.
and eight, of the acts of Assembly, of eighteen hundred and
seventy-eight, entitled an act to add an additional article to the
Code of Public Local Laws, to be entitled " Garrett County,''
sub-title " Birds," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, to read as
follows :

SEC. 2. It shall not be lawful for any person to kill, destroy,
snare or in any way trap, in Garrett county, any pheasant,
woodcock or partridge, between the first day of December and
the first day of October in each year; or to snare or in any-
way trap any pheasant at any season of the year whatsoever ;
or to kill or destroy or snare or trap any partridge, between
the first day of December and the fifteenth day of October, in
each year.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 641.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article two of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title
"Fences," to follow immediately after Section 142, and to
be designated as Section 142 A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and is added to article two
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub title "Fences," to follow immediately after sec-
tion 142, and to be designated as section 142 A,

lying on the public road in the first election district of Annf
Arundel county, within one and one-half miles from tht
village of Galesville, who shall fail to erect and keep in repair
fences on said public roads, of such a character and descrip-
tion as are mentioned and described in section 136, to impount
any cattle or horse for trespass upon his or her property
through the failure of such person to erect and keep in repair
such fences, and such person is hereby prohibited from recover
ing damages for such trespass; and if any person, failing to
