SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 639.

AN ACT to provide for an additional Justice of the Peace
for the fifth election district of Kent County.

Additional
justice of
the peace

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That in addition to the present number of justices
of the peace in the fifth election district of Kent county, as
now provided for by law, there shall be an additional justice
of the peace for said district in said county, and the Governor
is hereby authorized to appoint and commission an additional
justice of the peace for said district.

Effective.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 640.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
two, Chapter two hundred and forty-four, of the Acts of the
General Assembly, passed at the January Session, eighteen
hundred and eighty-six, entitled an act to repeal Sections
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight of Chapter
one hundred and eight, of the Assembly of eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-eight, entitled an act to add an additional
Article to the Code of Public Local Laws, to be entitled
" Garrett County," sub-title " Birds," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
