sage of this Act they shall give at least ten days' notice of
the time and place by handbills posted in at least five con-
spicuous places in said town, at which all qualified voters,
as prescribed in the third section of this Act, may be regis-
tered; and the said officers of registration shall take the
oath before a justice of the peace of said county to permit
every qualified person to register, and none other. The
majority of said registration officers shall have the power to
do all things under this section in the event of the death or

tion of the registry of voters the registrars herein named
shall give the judges of election herein named a list of
voters registered; that after the first election the commis-
sioners shall make rules and regulations in regard to regis-
tration of voters as they may deem proper.
SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That F. P. Showater, James S.
Roberts and Pearre Miller, be and they are hereby appointed

and that ten days before the last Monday in April, 1906,
they shall give notice that the election will be held and the
places thereof by handbills posted in at least five public places
in said town, at which election, all persons duly registered
under the thirteenth section of this Act shall be entitled to
vote for five persons for commissioners, one person for clerk,
and one person for bailiff, and that said judges of election,
before opening the polls, shall take oath before some justice
of the peace of said county, to permit every registered voter
to vote, and none other; and a majority of said judges shall
have power to conduct said election in case one of them dies
or refuses to act.
SEC. 15, And be it enacted, That at the election provided
