under shall be valid, but if the majority of said voters shall
vote against "incorporation," then this Act shall be void for
a, period of one year, or until the third Monday in April,
1907, when the qualified voters of said town assemble and
vote as herein provided; and if, at the second election, a
majority of the qualified voters of said town shall vote for
"incorporation" then the provisions of this Act shall take
effect, and that the elections thereunder shall be valid; and
if the majority of said voters shall vote against "incorpora-

tion" at this election then this Act shall be held utterly null
and void; .and be it further provided that all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 16. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 498.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 2 of Chapter 339,
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

Assembly of Maryland of 1904, be and the same is hereby
repealed, re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as
follows :
The provisions of Chapter 339 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of 1904 shall not apply to Allegany county,

re-enact.

Baltimore city, Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dor-
chester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Montgomery,
Queen Anne's, Washington and Wicomico counties, and that
as to the said counties Section 50 and Section 114 A of
Article 33 of the Act of Public General Laws, title " Elec-
tions," shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 499.
AN ACT to incorporate the town of Pittsville, of Wicomico
County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the citizens of the town of Pittsville, of Wicomico
