hereinafter set forth in this Act, numbered Sections 41, 42,
43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58,
59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 70 A, 70s, 71,
72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87,
88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 97 A, 97 B, 97 C, 97 D,
97 E, 97 F, 97 G, 97 H, 97 I, 97 K, 97 L, 97 M, 97 N, 97 O, 97 P,
97 Q, 97 R, 97S, 97 T, 97 U, 97 V, 97 W, 97 X and 97 Y, be and
the same are hereby enacted in the place and stead of and as
a substitute for said section and sub-sections hereby repealed,
under the title "Talbot County," sub-title "Easton," the
same reading as follows :

Easton — The Incorporation.

41. The inhabitants of the town of Easton, in Talbot
county, are now and shall hereafter be a body corporate,
under the name and title of "The Mayor and Council of

Easton," with all the rights, franchises, powers, privileges
and prerogatives which, at the date of this enactment, they,
as a body corporate, have, hold and possess, under the name
and title of " The Commissioners of Easton ;" and as well,
all the rights, franchise's, powers and privileges and preroga-
tives which are given under this enactment, and that may
hereafter be given, acquired or received thereby. The said
Mayor and Council of Easton, as such, shall have perpetual
succession, and by said name may sue and be sued; they
may hold, possess, purchase and otherwise acquire for cor-
porate purposes property, real, personal and mixed, and they
may sell, dispose of and convey any such property for the
benefit of said town; and they may use a corporate seal, and
may alter the same at pleasure.

42. The taxable limits and boundaries of said town shall
be the same as now existing, which are as follows: Begin-

five and one-quarter degrees east, fifty -eight and one-twelfth
perches to a stone, being the northeast corner of the town

south two hundred perches to a stone, for the southwest
corner; thence east two hundred and forty-eight and three-
fifths perches to a stone, for the southeast corner; thence
