Repeal.

"Police duties of Constables," be and the same is hereby
repealed in so far as the same relates to Allegany county.
SEC. 2. And be it hereby further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 436.
AN ACT to ratify and to amend the Charter of the Maryland
Real Estate, Title and Investment Company of Hyattsville,
Maryland.
WHEREAS, The Maryland Real Estate, Title and Invest-
ment Company of Hyattsville, Maryland, was duly incorpor-

ated on the 21st day of November, 1904, and amended on
the 15th day of December, 1904, for buying, selling and
dealing in lands in this State, and for the purpose of examin-
ing and giving certificates of title to property in the counties
of Maryland bordering on the District of Columbia, with a
capital stock of twenty thousand dollars, divided in four
hundred shares of the par value of fifty dollars each, as will
appear by said certificates of incorporation and amendment,
filed in Liber J. B. B. No. 1, folios 43 and 47, of the incor-
poration records of Prince George's county, Maryland, and
is desirous of having said incorporation ratified and amended,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the charter of the Maryland Real Estate, Title

and Investment Company of Hyattsville, Maryland, dated
November 21, 1904, and December 15, 1904, and respec-
tively recorded in Liber J. B. B. No. 1, folios 43 and 47, of
the incorporation records of Prince George's county, Mary-
land, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed, and
the shareholders thereof are hereby declared a body corpor-
ate under the name and style of "The Maryland Real Estate,
Title and Investment Company," of Hyattsville, Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said corporation
under the above name and style is hereby made capable in

law to sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, to defend
and be defended in courts of law, to make, have and use a
common seal, and the same to alter and renew at their
pleasure, and -generally to do and execute all and singular
such acts, matters and things as a corporation and body
politic may and can lawfully execute.
