CHAPTER 434.

AN ACT to further extend the duration of the South Bal-
timore Company by repealing and re-enacting with amend-
ment the Act passed at the January Session, 1876, Chap-
ter 144, of the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled
an Act to repeal the first section of the Act passed at the
January Session, 1854, Chapter 122, of the General
Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act amendatory of the
Act to incorporate the South Baltimore Company, passed
December Session, 1832, Chapter 96, and to extend the
duration of said Act to January 1, 1880, and to appoint
additional incorporators, and to increase the capital stock
of said company to six hundred and twenty-five thou-
sand dollars, and to protect the rights of said company
from forfeiture by non-user.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said Act of 1876, Chapter 144, which repealed

and re-enacted Section 1 of said Act of 1854, Chapter 122,
so as to read as follows: "That the duration of said corpo-
ration be and the same is hereby extended to the 1st day of
January, 1920, and until the end of the next session of the
General Assembly, which shall happen thereafter," be
repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows: That Sec-
tion 1 of said Act of 1854, Chapter 122, be repealed and
re-enacted so as to read as follows: That the duration of said

corporation be and the same is hereby extended to 1st day
of January, 1960, and until the end of the next session of
the General Assembly which shall happen thereafter.
