was changed to the " Evangelical Lutheran Association of
the Augsburg Home for Orphans and Aged of Baltimore
City," by amendment of the charter thereof, under the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the year
1896, Chapter 152.

CHAP. 75

WHEREAS, Under the original charter of said corporation,
the number of directors thereof was limited to twelve; and
WHEREAS, By reason of the duties devolving upon said
directors incident to the purpose of said corporation, it has
been deemed expedient that the number of said directors
should be increased to thirty; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the charter of the Evangelical Lutheran Associa-
tion of the Augsburg Home for Orphans and Aged of Balti-
more City be and the same is hereby amended, to the end
that the said corporation shall from henceforth be managed
by a board of thirty directors or managers, instead of twelve
directors or managers, as provided for in said original charter
thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 76.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to a bequest of one thousand
dollars to the Grace Reformed Church of Frederick,
Maryland, a religious corporation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby given to the bequest
contained in the last will and testament of David M. Brengle,
late of Frederick county, deceased, of the sum of one
thousand ($1,000) dollars to the consistory of the Grace
Reformed Church of Frederick, Maryland, said will being
dated on the 26th day of September, 1904, and recorded in
Liber W. B. C. No. ,1, folio 47, etc., one of the records of
wills in the office of the Register of Wills for said Frederick
county.
