to authorize and ratify the levy of the year 1905 made by
the County Commissioners of Garrett County for the pay-
ment of the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the purchase made by the County Commissioners
of Garrett County of a lot of ground in the town of Oakland,
for a new County Jail and Court House, and the erection
thereon of a new County Jail now building, be and the same
are hereby authorized and ratified.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the levy made by the

County Commissioners for the year 1905 on the assessment
of property in Garrett county, for the payment of said lots
of ground for a new County Jail and Court House, and the
erection thereon of a new County Jail, be and the same is
hereby authorized and ratified.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 6.
AN ACT to amend Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title " Queen Anne's County," sub-title
" Centreville," by adding a new section thereto to come in
after Section 58 and to be designated as Section 58 A,
authorizing and requiring the Town Commissioners of
Centreville to levy annually on the assessable property of
Centreville an additional tax, not exceeding seven cents on
each one hundred dollars, for the support and maintenance
of the Good Will Fire Company in said, or its successor."
