SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That all acts or deeds of the
said corporation, and sealed with its corporate seal, and all

acknowledged and recorded, shall be signed and sealed as
aforesaid, and shall also be acknowledged in due form by
the president as such, in behalf of the corporation; but in
the absence or incapacity of the said president, the said
committee of the corporation may appointment some one of
its members to execute and acknowledge the said deed or
deeds on behalf of the said corporation, and all acts or
deeds of the said body corporate so authenicated shall be
valid and effectual in law.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That all acts and deeds of the
committee of the Presbyterian church heretofore incorpo-

rated which are not inconsistent with the laws or constitu-
tion of this State or the United States be and they hereby
made good and valid in law, and that all deeds or conveyances
given to the said committee, or to any person or persons in
trust for said church, for any interest or estate, in any lands
or tenements, or property of any kind, be and they are hereby
made valid and effectual in law to transfer the same interest
or estate is hereby vested in the committee hereinbefore
incorporated, and their successors forever, for the use of the
said Presbyterian church.
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 378.
AN ACT to amend Article 27 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "Crimes and Punish-
ments," sub-title "False Pretenses," by adding a new sec-
tion thereto, following immediately after Section 115, and
to be known and designated as Section 115 A.
