CHAPTER 71.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Visitors of the Jail
in Baltimore city to contract with any person or corpora-
tion for the erection of a workshop at the Baltimore City
Jail, the same to be paid for by the hire of its inmates.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Visitors of the Jail in Baltimore city be and

they are hereby unconditionally authorized and empowered
to contract, upon such terms, as to price or otherwise, as
they may deem expedient or proper, with any person or cor-
poration, in their discretion, for the erection, at the Balti-
more City Jail, of a workshop for its uses; provided, that
the cost of erecting said workshop shall be paid for by the
hire to the contractor, as now authorized by law, and as
fixed in amount or otherwise by the said Visitors, in their
discretion, of inmates of said jail.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 8, 1906.

CHAPTER 72.

AN ACT to repeal Section 168 of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Queen Anne's
County,' sub-title "Fish and Terrapins," as enacted by the
General Assembly of Maryland, in Chapter 594 of its Acts,
passed at the January Session 1890, so far as the same
relates to the tributaries of Chester river, within the juris-
dictional limits of Queen Anne's county, and also to
repeal Sections 169, 171, 172, 173 and 174 of said Article
18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Queen Anne's County," sub-title "Fish and Terrapins,"
so far as the same relate to the tributaries of Chester river,
within the jurisdictional limits of Queen Anne's county;
and also to repeal Sections 171 A, 172 A, 173 A, 174 A,
175 A, 176 A and 177 A of the said Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Queen Anne's
County," sub-title "Fish and Terrapins," as enacted by
