by Chapter 476 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its January Session, 1898, be and the
same are repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows :
101. It shall not be lawful for any person to fish in the
waters of Gunpowder river, Middle river, Back river, Brown's

creek or Hawk cove, or their tributary streams, except Bird
. river, situated in Baltimore county, or in the waters of the
Chesapeake bay within one mile of the entrance of said
rivers, creek or cove into the same, with seine or nets, except
from the shore, in the usual and customary manner.
102. It shall not be lawful for any person to fish in said

waters, Bird river excepted, with nets of any kind, except
seines, a greater distance than three hundred yards from the
shore, and in no case shall said nets be extended more than
one-third the distance in any of said rivers or their tribu-
taries, or of said Brown's creek or Hawk cove.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 70.
AN ACT to repeal Article 1 of the Public Laws of Maryland,
entitled, "Allegany County," sub- title, "Dogs and Sheep,"
and known as Sections 100 A, 100 B, 100 o, 100 D, 100 E,
100 F, 100 G, 100 H, 100 I, as enacted by Chapter 629 of
the Acts of 1904.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary- \J

Repeal.

land, That Article 1 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland,
entitled, "Allegany County," sub-title, "Dogs and Sheep,"
and known as Sections 100 A, 100 B, 100 C, 100 D, 100 E, 100 F,
100 G, 100 H, 100 I, as enacted by Chapter 629 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
