licenses now are under the general laws of the State, and
shall expire on the first day of May next thereafter; said
license fees shall be paid by said clerk to the Board of
County School Commissioners of Worcester county to be by
said board applied to and used as a part of the public
general school fund of said county, and the bond of said
clerk shall be liable for the payment of said money on suit
instituted by the said board.

Section 137. No person who shall obtain a license under

spirituous, vinuous or fermented liquors to any minor except
upon the written order of his parent, guardian or employer,
nor to any person intoxicated at the time, nor to any person
acting as the agent or in any way on account of such intoxi-
cated person or minor, nor to any person known to the com-
munity as an habitual drunkard; but any hotel keeper
licensed under this sub-title of this article may sell intoxi-
cating, spirituous or fermented liquors to all other persons
by the drink or in quantities not exceeding five gallons, but
not otherwise; that said hotel keepers in said Worcester
county, licensed under the provisions of this Act shall not

intoxicating liquors of any description between the hours of
twelve o'clock at midnight and five o'clock in the -morning,
and all that part of the hotel or hotels in which said liquors
shall be kept for sale shall be closed between the said hours
of twelve o'clock at midnight and five o'clock in the morning
and shall not be opened at any time between the said last
named hours of twelve o'clock at midnight and five o'clock
in the morning.

Section 138 A. Any person who shall buy intoxicating,

minor who shall purchase such liquors in any manner what-

upon conviction to a fine not to exceed twenty dollars and
costs, and any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this Act shall upon indictment and conviction thereof be
