every day from 7 o'clock A. M. to 9 o'clock P. M. in each
year at each of the crossings of its railroad over Frederick
avenue and over Chestnut street in said town, to warn persons
using said streets and crossing over said railroad at said
crossings of the approach of trains upon said railroad.
35. No railroad company whose tracks cross any street or

public road in said town shall permit any of its cars to
obstruct said street or road for a longer period than five
minutes. Any such railroad company violating the provis-
ions of this section shall upon conviction thereof before
any of the justices of the peace of said county, be fined not
more than $10 (ten dollars) and costs. In any such pro-
ceeding, service of a summons upon any ticket agent shall be
a sufficient service upon said railroad company.

SEC. 38. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 293.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 5 and 26 of Chapter 689 of the
Acts of 1892, and Section 15 of Chapter 689 of the Acts
of 1892, as amended in Chapter 385 of the Acts of 1896,
and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to add
two new sections, to be known as Sections 15 A and 27.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 5 and 26 of Chapter 689 of the Acts of
1892, and Section 15 of Chapter 689 of the Acts of 1892, as

same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, and that two new
