CHAP. 286
Preamble.

Maryland, held on the 13th day of January, 1906, it was
decided by a vote of the residents of said town attending
said meeting that an application should be made to the
General Assembly for a charter of said town of " Kitzmiller-
ville."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land. That twenty new sections be and the same are hereby

" Garrett County," under the new sub-title " Kitzmillersville, "
to follow immediately Section 138, to be known as Sections
138 A, 138 B, 138 C, 138 D, 138 E, 138 F, 138 G, 138 H, 138 I,
138 J, 138 K, 138 L, 138 M, 138 N, 138 O, 138 R, 138 Q, 138 R,
138 S and 138 T, and to read as follows :
Section 138 A. That the inhabitants of the town of Kitz-

millersville, in District No. 13, in Garrett county, State of
Maryland, are hereby incorporated by the name of the
" Mayor and Council of Kitzmillersville," that by that name
they have perpetual succession, may sue and be sued, and
may have and use a common seal, and may purchase and
hold such real, personal and mixed property, as may be
required for the purposes of said corporation, and may dis-
pose of such property, when necessary, for the benefit of
said corporation; and all the property and funds of every
kind belonging to said corporation are vested in the Mayor
and Council of Kitzmillersville.
Section 138B. The corporate limits of the town of Kits-
millersville are hereby declared to be as follows: Beginning

at a pine tree on the south side of the north branch of the
Potomac river, and running north 17 degrees west to a stake
at the extreme lower end of bottom 224 feet; thence north
83 degrees west 836 feet to a sugar tree near county road ;
thence south 76 degrees west 673 feet to a white oak tree ;
thence south 57 degrees west 1295 feet to a sthrible red oak
tree; thence south 33 degrees west 2841 feet to a small locust
on the south side of the north branch of the Potomac river ;
thence with south bank of river to the beginning corner, on
the following courses and distances: South 46 degrees east
200 feet, south 53 degrees east 123 feet, south 29 degrees
east 315 feet, south 40 degrees east 295 feet, south 61
degrees east 622 feet, south 76 degrees east 750 feet, north
81 degrees east 650 feet, north 51 degrees east 849 feet,
north 44 degrees east 505 feet, north 55 degrees east 270
