CHAP. 277

Charles W. Oehm, co-partners, trading as Oehm's Acme Hall,
for balance due for new uniforms and altering and converting
old uniforms and parts of same for the Fourth Regiment
Infantry, Maryland National Guard, by order of Williard
Howard, colonel commanding.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 2, 1906.

CHAPTER 278.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
674, 678, 688 and 689 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquors
and Intoxicating Drinks," as re-enacted by the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, Chapter 123 of the
Session of 1898, and as since amended by the Acts of
1900, Chapter 278.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 674, 678, 688 and 689 of Article 4 of

sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," as re-enacted
by the General Assembly of Maryland, Chapter 123 of the
Session of 1898, and as since amended by the Acts of 1900,
Chapter 278, be and the same are hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows :

Section 674. Said petition shall contain the name and
residence of the applicant and how long he has resided there ;
(2) the particular place for which a license is desired, desig-

nating the same by street and number, if practicable, and, if
not, by such other apt description as definitely locates it ;
(3) the kind of license desired, whether a saloon license,
hotel license, club license or retail grocers license; (4) the
name of the owner of the premises upon which the business
licensed is to be carried on; (5) a statement that the appli-
cant is a citizen of the United States, and that it is necessary
for the accommodation of the public that the place should
be licensed; (6) that the applicants have not, nor has any of
them, had a license for the sale of intoxicating liquors in
this State revoked, nor has been convicted of any crime
