CHAP. 274

Peterman, Julia Downs, M. D., Miss Florence Hammond,

and Mrs. Emma Maddox Funck.
SEC. 19. And be it enacted, That the principal office of

CHAPTER 275.

AN ACT to empower the Board of Town Commissioners of
the incorporated towns of Cecil County to pass ordinances
to make it unlawful for persons not exceeding fifteen years
of age to be on the public streets of said towns during
certain hours, and to enforce the observance of said ordin-
ances by fines.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the several boards of Town Commissioners of the

incorporated towns of Cecil county are hereby authorized
and empowered to pass ordinances to be in force in the
respective towns thereof, to prohibit and make it unlawful
for persons not exceeding fifteen years of age to be upon the
public streets of said towns wherein said ordinances may be
in force during such hours after sunset and before sunrise,
as said ordinances may designate, and to include in said
ordinances such reasonable rules as may be necessary to reg-
ulate said prohibition, and to provide in said ordinances for
the enforcement thereof by arrest and the imposition of fines
(not to exceed ten dollars for any single violation thereof by
any person), and to provide for the collection of said fines
as other fines imposed by ordinances in said towns are
collected.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
