SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take

CHAPTER 265.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Harford County to grant and pay an annual pension to
George W. Gorrell of said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Harford county

be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to grant to George W. Gorrell, a resident of Harford county,
an annual pension of seventy-five dollars, for and during his
natural life, and to pay the same to him in equal quarterly
instalments, and to provide for and levy all amounts of money
necessary to pay said pension on the assessable property in
the said county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 266.
AN ACT to declare and sanction the grant, sale and deed
from Leon Lauer and wife to the Chatsworth Methodist
Episcopal Church of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and that the same is hereby enacted, given

and granted to the grant, sale conveyance and deed to the
Chatsworth Methodist Episcopal Church of Baltimore City
from Leon Lauer and Martha F. Lauer, his wife, and the
acquisition by the said Chatsworth Methodist Episcopal
Church of Baltimore City of and to the fee simple lot of
ground and improvements thereon in Baltimore city, situated
on the south - side of North avenue and more particularly
described as follows; Beginning for the same on the south
side of North avenue at the distance of two hundred and
twenty-five feet westerly from the corner formed by the inter-
section of the west side of Smallwood avenue and the south
