side of North avenue, which place of beginning is intended
to be on the corner formed by the intersection of the south
side of North avenue and the west side of an avenue sixty
feet wide, intended to be laid out, and known as Whitmore
avenue; and running thence westerly bounding on the south
side of North avenue one hundred and twenty feet; thence
southerly at right angles to North avenue and parallel to
said avenue sixty feet wide intended to be laid out as afore-
said ninety feet to the north side of a ten-foot alley there
situated, parallel to North avenue; thence easterly bounding
on the north side of a ten-foot alley and parallel with North
avenue one hundred and twenty feet to the west side of said
sixty-foot avenue to be laid out as aforesaid; and thence
north bounding on the west side of said sixty-foot avenue
ninety feet to the place of beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 267.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
3 of Chapter 514 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, Session 1902, entitled " An Act to repeal
Chapter 269 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1900,
entitled 'An Act to provide additional revenues for the
special Fund of the Board of Police Commissioners of the
City of Baltimore,' " to be derived from the granting or
issuing permits to give public dances, soirees, masked
balls, boxing or athletic contests, or either of them in, the
city of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 3 of Chapter 514 of the Acts of the
