person to catch or kill any dove between the first day of Jan-
uary and the first day of August next ensuing, nor shall it
be lawful for any person or persons to shoot, trap, or catch,
kill or have in their possession any of the before-mentioned
birds and game (wood or summer ducks excepted), when
snow is on the ground.
Section 35 A. It shall not be lawful for any person to ship
out of said county or to receive for shipment out of said

county at any time any quail, partridge, rabbit, woodcock,
squirrel or dove, but any person travelling or going out of
said county may carry with him or her as a part of his or
her personal baggage not more than twelve quail or partridge,
six rabbits, six woodcock, six squirrels and six doves at any
one time, provided that said game when so carried shall be
carried in such manner as to disclose to the public the kind
and quality of game so carried out of said county, but in no
case shall it be lawful to carry said game in any quantity or
quantities out of said county for the purpose of sale.
Section 36. That any person who shall be convicted before
any justice of the peace for violating the preceding sections,

or either of them, shall pay a fine of $10, for each and every
quail, partridge, rabbit, woodcock, squirrel, summer or wood-
duck, or dove shot or in any manner caught, killed, carried,
shipped, received for shipment, or found in their possession,
or for any quail or partridge trapped, or for any quail or
partridge eggs or nests wilfully or maliciously molested or
destroyed, contrary to the preceding sections or either of
them, and in default of the payment of the fine imposed
hereunder, together with the costs, shall be committed to the
county jail until the fine and costs are paid.
SEC. 2 And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.
