CHAP. 232

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 1 and 2 of Chapter 77 of the Acts of

Board of trus-
tees.

1825 be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted as
follows: That the board of trustees of West Nottingham
Academy, in Cecil county, shall consist of thirteen members,
nine to be residents of Cecil county, Maryland, and the
remaining four residents of and citizens of the United States;
that any vacancy in said board of trustees of West Not-
tingham Academy now existing or which may hereafter be
occasioned by the death or resignation or disqualification of
any member of the said board shall be filled by the remain-
ing members of said board of trustees, and said board of
trustees shall elect the four additional members of said
board authorized by this Act.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 234.
AN ACT to carry into effect Section 39 of Article 4 of the
Constitution, so far as the same concerns an increase in
the number of Judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore
City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That, in pursuance of Section 39 of Article 4 of the
Constitution, there shall be elected another judge of the
Supreme Bench of Baltimore City by the legal and qualified
voters of said city at the election to be held in said city on
the Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 1906, and
the judge to be voted for under this section shall be voted
for as "Additional Judge of the Supreme Bench," and shall
be so marked on the official ballot, and when said judge
shall be so elected he shall be subject to all the provisions of
the constitution relating to the Supreme Bench of Baltimore
City and the several judges thereof, and shall be assigned to
the performance of such judicial duties as the said Supreme
Bench shall from time to time indicate.
