in the usual form, awarding the same to the lowest respon-
sible bidder; provided, said bid does not exceed five hun-
dred dollars.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 214.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Somerset County to build a bridge over " King's
Creek " in said county and to levy upon the assessable
property of said county a sum of money for the purpose
of building said bridge.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Somerset county be

and they are hereby authorized and empowered, if in their
discretion they shall deem it necessary for the convenience of
the public, to build a bridge over "King's Creek" in said
county, of such a width as in their discretion may be neces-
sary, and of such heighth and structure as may be sufficient
to allow the passage thereunder or through of such boats as
have been accustomed to navigate the said "King's Creek "
at the place of said bridge; the said bridge to be located at
such place as the said County Commissioners may deem
best in their discretion for the convenience of the public to
be benefited thereby.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of building

erty of said county not exceeding $1,200.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 215.
AN ACT to repeal Section 80 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Somerset County,"
sub-title " Crisfield," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
