CHAPTER 203.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 58 58 A, 58 B, 58 C, 58 Dand 58 E.
of Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Harford County" sub-title "County Commissioners,"
relating to the number, term, election and compensation of
County Commissioners for said County, and to re-enact same
with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That Sections 58, 58 A, 58 B, 58 C, 58 D and 58 E of
Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Harford
County," sub-title "County Commissioners," be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows :

Repeal and
re-enact.
|

|
Section 58. From and after the general election to be held
on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in Novenber, 1907,
the board of County Commissioners of Harford county shall
consist of five members.
Section 58 A. There shall be elected at the general election

of 1907 three County Commissioners, who shall hold office
for two years and until their successors are elected and have
qualified, and there shall be elected at the general election of
1909 four County Commissioners, who shall hold office for
two years and until their successors are elected and have
qualified, and at the general election in 1911 there shall be
elected five County Commissioners, who shall hold office for
two years and until their successors are elected and qualified,
and thereafter five County Commissioners shall be elected at
each general election, and the County Commissioners elected
under the provisions of this Act shall be eligible for re-elec-
tion, but those holding over under the Act of 1892, Chapter
157, shall be ineligible to succeed themselves.

Act of 1892, Chapter 157, shall continue to hold office until the
expiration of the term for which they were respectively elected
and shall receive the salaries fixed by that Act, that is, the
Commissioner elected in 1901 shall hold his office until the
general election in 1907, the Commissioner elected in 1903
shall hold his office until the general election of 1909, and the
Commisioner elected in 1905 shall hold his office until the
general election in 1911.
