CHAP. 198

Charles Harzog and Josephine Harzog, his wife, to the fee
in one of the lots aforementioned to the same grantee, said

deed bearing date the 16th day of January in the year 1901,
and recorded among the land records of Baltimore city in
Liber R. O. No. 1884, folio 78, etc.

103. To the bequest of one hundred dollars contained in
the last will and testament of Harriet A. E. Turner, late of
Baltimore city, deceased, to Bethel African Methodist Epis-
copal Church of Baltimore city, to erect a memorial window
in said church to the memory of the late Bishop A. W.
Way man and the testator, said will bearing date the 12th
day of April, in the year 1902, and recorded among the will
records of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city in Liber
No. 97, folio 302, etc.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sanction and consent
of the General Assembly of Maryland be and the same are
hereby given, granted and declared to the acquisition by the
several religious denominations or sects, orders or corpora-
tions, hereinbefore in this Act mentioned or named, at any
time hereafter, whether by gift, grant or otherwise, of the
fee simple title to the lots of land aforementioned, in which
they are respectively entitled to leasehold interest or less
than a fee simple title, by virtue of the several deeds, gifts,
grants, bequests or devises aforementioned, and by virtue of
the sanction hereinbefore, by the first section of this Act
given, and to the holding, sale, mortgaging, leasing or other-
wise disposing of the same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 2, 1906.

CHAPTER 199.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 515 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland passed at the January Session
1904, entitled "An Act to add an additional section to Article
12 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ' Garrett County,'
sub-title 'Justices of the Peace and Constables,' defining
the jurisdiction of justices of the peace, said section to be
designated as Section 135 A."
