CHAPTER 169.
AN ACT authorizing the Washington, Baltimore and Annap-
olis Electric Railway Company to build a bridge across
the Patapsco River.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Elec-
tric Railway Company be and it is hereby authorized and'
empowered to build a bridge across the Patapsco river in
order to connect its right of way and tracks on the Baltimore
county shore with its right of way and tracks on the Anne
Arundel county shore of said river, said location of said
bridge being between the iron or steel bridge between Balti-
more county and Anne Arundel county, as authorized by
Chapter 115 of the Acts of 1904, and the bridge of the
Baltimore and Annapolis Short Line Railroad Company.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in the construction of the
bridge hereby authorized the provisions of Section 264 of
Article 23, of Volume 1 of the Code of 1904 of the Public
General Laws of Maryland shall be complied with in so far
as the same may be applicable.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 170.
AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of the town of Laurel,
Prince George's County, to determine by ballot whether
or not spirituous or fermented liquors shall be sold in
said town and to provide for a submission of said question
at a special election to be held in said town on April 14,
1906, and prescribing terms, conditions and penalties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the question whether or not any person or per-
sons, house, company, association, club or corporation may be
licensed in the town of Laurel, Prince George's county, State
of Maryland, by whom or in which spirituous or fermented
liquors or intoxicating drinks of any kind may be sold, or
whether or not license to sell the same in said town shall be
